Why Would You Get Married (Any Perks?) –

The gaming industry has been a major player in the entertainment industry, and with that comes a lot of perks. There are countless ways to win prizes, earn money, and even get married.

What are the financial benefits of being married? is a common question that people ask. Many couples find that getting married has many perks, such as tax breaks and joint bank accounts.

The marriage system in Final Fantasy XIV is mostly for aesthetic and role-playing reasons, but it does reward you with a valuable item (the Eternity Ring) that you won’t be able to get anywhere else. This ring has the power to transport you right next to your spouse.

It’s also completely possible in Eorzea for anybody who wants to recreate the old ball and chain.

But, honestly, what is the purpose of doing it?

Well, it depends on your point of view. Do you want your character to be carefree and fancy-free, or do you want to return home every night to the same catgirl/man?

Marriage is entirely voluntary in XIV.

In fact, you won’t be able to start the procedure without first making a purchase on the internet shop.

Eternal Bonding in Final Fantasy XIV, in my opinion, is more or less a throwaway feature.

It’s just a little extra roleplaying fun to brighten your day (or cringe, depending on which ceremony you choose).

You’ll be able to schedule the ceremony and send invitations to pals after completing a short questline in which you prepare for it.

You do not, however, leave the ceremony empty-handed.

You’ll get a choice of cosmetic things depending on which of the three plans you select (regular, gold, or platinum).

You could even ride into the sunset on a customized two-person horse if you’ve really spent out.

What Do I Get From The Eternal Bonding Ceremony?

There are three options for those looking for that elusive wedded happiness.

The Standard Plan is completely free and includes everything you’ll need to be married.

This contains emotes, a wedding cake, wedding attire, and some basic ceremony choices, among other things.

The Gold Plan costs $20 per person and includes everything in the Standard Plan plus the Ceremony Chocobo mount.

It also gives you additional choices for customizing the event, like as changing the lighting, carpeting, and flower arrangements.

The Platinum Plan costs $20 per participant (for a total of $40) and includes everything from the previous plans (including the Chocobo mount), as well as some very luxurious clothing and even more ceremonial customization choices.

Personally, I think that’s a touch excessive.

However, some individuals like having as many options as possible.

You will still get what is, in my view, the most useful thing of the whole event, regardless of which package you select.

Both players will be given an Eternity Ring with an obscenely large stone.

This item has some basic stats, but when you use it, it teleports you to your wife/husband.

They’re just next to them, and there are no Aetheryte costs!

This is a really helpful benefit if you play with this other person on a daily basis (which I think you would if you cared enough to get married).

It does, however, have limits.

It won’t let you into places you haven’t yet opened. If you wish to teleport to your lover in a zone other than A Realm Reborn, you’ll need to gather all of the aether currents in that zone.

In other words, if you haven’t enabled flight in a zone, you won’t be able to teleport there using the Eternity Ring.

I Would Like To Get Married! What Should I Do First?

It’s not difficult.

Simply go to this page on the website and fill out the application after selecting one of the three options.

Naturally, you must both choose the same plan – you cannot mix and match.

Once you’ve decided on a strategy and completed the payment, you’ll be sent an accessory in-game, which will begin the questline.

To get there, you’ll have to go through a few stages.

After all, this is Final Fantasy, and a full film wouldn’t be complete without a massive amount of speech.

Once you’ve made enough progress, you’ll be able to schedule the ceremony and organize it using the choices provided, as well as invite your friends.

Once that’s done, all that’s left is to wait for the big day.

The Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, in my opinion, is very corny.

It’s not exactly a refined affair.

I’m not sure whether it becomes any more tasteful if you pay for it, but you can expect some excessively saccharine moments.

But how else will you be able to claim that you were wedded by Moogles?

Is it Possible for You to Get Divorced as Well?

I’m sure you’re a lot of fun at gatherings.

Yes, you may have your not-so-Eternal Bond dissolved if things go bad and the enchantment disappears.

It may be done before or after the wedding, and at any time.

You’ll need your wristlet accessory if it’s before the ceremony.

If it’s later, you’ll need to bring your Eternity Ring with you.

Take everything you need to the East Shroud’s Sanctum of the Twelve.

You may exchange your item to the white-robed NPC there, thus breaking the connection and allowing you to marry someone else — or go to Limsa Lominsa and enjoy a single life.

However, keep in mind that this procedure will only annul your marriage for you.

You can’t make the other player give up their Eternity Ring if they’re having trouble moving on.

If they wish, they may still use it to teleport to you.

And, before you ask, no, a restraining order is not available in Final Fantasy XIV. If you could, I’m sure you’d give it a more interesting name.

Marriage is a commitment, but it doesn’t have to be expensive. There are financial benefits of not getting married that can make the decision easier.
