The new iOS 11 allows users to silence pesky robocalls. The feature can be accessed from the Do Not Disturb screen, where a list of recent calls and messages appear on the left side
of the screen. Users scroll through each contact until they find one with an “X” next to it or type in their phone number manually. Once that’s done, tapping on that call will give you options for how long you’d like your device not to ring when someone tries calling again (1 min., 15 min., 30 min.).
Why does my iPhone say silence calls?
This is a common issue with iPhone. The reason for this is that the phone thinks its in Silent Mode, but youre actually on a call. To fix this, go to Settings > Sounds and turn your ringtone back on.
Why is my call silenced?
There are a few reasons why your call may be silenced. One of the most common is that you have reached a certain volume threshold, which will automatically mute your microphone. Another reason is that you are in a conference call with multiple people and someone else has muted their microphone.
