Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams Gets a 30-Minute Fan Film

Silent Hill 2 is one of the most iconic horror games to ever hit consoles. In late 2018, a fan film was released that adapted the game into a 30-minute short film. Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams is a fan film for Silent Hill 2. It was released on December 26, 2018 and has gotten over 45 million views as of January 10th, 2019. The differences between the game and the movie are very interesting to watch.

A 30-minute fan film based on Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams has been developed by filmmaker Colten Dietz. Vic Mignogna (Feature Trek Continues, Full Metal Alchemist, RWBY), Mercedes Peterson (Anna 2, Rattlers 2), and Julie Anne Prescott star in the film, which Dietz wrote, directed, and produced (Apex Predators, VHS Violence).

As he looks for his murdered wife and tries to come to terms with what occurred in his past, a distraught man makes his way through the monster-infested hamlet of Silent Hill.

The film was launched on Halloween and has already received a lot of positive feedback from people all around the globe. Here’s an example of a scene from the original game. Many people have praised veteran actor Vic Mignogna for his casting as James Sunderland.
