Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular video games on the planet, with millions of players. As a result, GTA fans have been waiting patiently for news regarding its next installment—Grand Theft Auto V: The Trilogy-The Definitive Edition. Rockstar just dropped some major information about what’s to come in this update that will be available tomorrow.

Rockstar Games has added a new Enhancement section to the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition web page, which confirms some of the restored games’ features. They feature higher-resolution graphics and an entirely redesigned lighting system, as well as gameplay enhancements including the opportunity to resume a failed mission right away. NVIDIA DLSS will also be supported for PC users.
Enhancements
Updated Player Experience makes it simpler to play these classic games than ever before, including:
- A controller layout in the GTAV style
- GTA: San Andreas has improved gunplay and aiming capabilities, as well as better drive-by controls.
- Weapon and Radio Station selection wheels have been updated.
- Players may now assign waypoints to places on updated Mini-Maps with improved navigation.
- The capacity to instantly resume a mission that has failed.
- Members may also earn new Rockstar Games Social Club achievements.
Improved visuals and quality across the board in all three games, including:
- Characters, weapons, vehicles, highways, and much more have higher quality textures for increased detail.
- The lighting system has been entirely overhauled, with improved shadows, reflections, and more.
- Water and weather effects have improved.
- Trees and foliage have more detail.
- Draw distances have been increased to create a new degree of depth and detail.
Plus, there are platform-specific features, such as:
- Support for 4K resolution with up to 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X systems
- PC Support for NVIDIA DLSS
- The Nintendo Switch has touch screen camera zooming, panning, and menu options, as well as Gyro aiming.
Beginning tomorrow, November 11, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be available digitally on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store on Xbox, the Nintendo eShop, and the Rockstar Games Launcher.
